Promontoire Project, Quebec City
Location: Quebec City, QC
Project Scope: This was a project of two halves. These clients had recently purchased an older home that needed some big updates, and a lot of TLC.
The 600 SF basement was only partially finished, and the space was not being utilized well. They wanted to reformat the whole level to include; a bedroom for their son, a new bathroom, family room, office space, and laundry facilities, as well as plenty of storage. The existing window placement meant limited options for room layout.
They wanted the downstairs to be a space that their son could grow into, while still working for the family now, so the client's preference was towards options with larger living spaces and a larger bathroom with tucked-away laundry machines.
The second project was their upstairs primary bathroom remodel. The awkwardly shaped room needed to be reformatted to make the most of the existing space, while keeping the bath and stand-alone shower, as well as seating at the vanity. Timeless fixtures, new finishes, and lighting were selected to make this bathroom a contemporary retreat for these clients.
