Hey there, I'm Ariane! I'm a French-Canadian from Quebec who moved to the West Coast in 2011.
I'm very into —> brunch dates, Peloton workouts, walks on the seawall with a good podcast, bold red wine, and travelling to beach destinations around the world.
My passion for architecture and interiors runs deep. Surprisingly, pursuing a career in interior design wasn't initially on my radar despite my family's deep roots in construction and real estate. However, with my grandfather's successful construction company, Groupe Loignon-Durant-Quevillon, built over 4,000 homes, golf courses, and shopping malls near Montreal, and my parents' interests in real estate and interior decorating—I've been immersed in this world my whole life.
While my degree is in communications, my career path has been anything but traditional. I started in the wedding industry before transitioning into corporate events and marketing, where I spent a decade honing my skills. In my corporate roles, I managed million-dollar budgets, worked with cross-functional teams and external agencies, and managed multiple complex events simultaneously, all while staying grounded with my trusty workback schedules.
My unusual career path proved invaluable in launching my design business. In 2019, I craved a change and kept dreaming about interior design. I'm so glad I followed my intuition and completed my interior design diploma before founding Ariane Design Co. in 2020. Since then, I've collaborated with over 65 clients in crafting spaces they proudly call home.
Our mission is to help high-achieving professionals design their first home through a bespoke approach to virtual design.
